Red House Records recording artist, Cliff Eberhardt, has been writing songs and touring for 24 years. In addition, he regularly teaches at prestigious songwriting camps all over the U.S. including Swannanoa Gathering, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Wintersongs, Summersongs, Summer Acoustic Music Week (SAMW) as well as hosting personal workshops and private lessons.
He’s had songs covered by folk artists Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens, pop band Erasure, Buffy St. Marie, folk superstar band “Cry, Cry, Cry” (Dar Williams, Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplansky) and more and signed a publishing deal with Cherry Lane Music (via John Denver) in 1995. Hal Leonard published a songbook of Cliff’s songs as well.
In 2012, he was hired to write original songs and perform in the Folger Shakespeare Library Theatre’s production of The Taming of the Shrew, which then went on to win a prestigious Helen Hayes Award. He has released nine albums on labels: Wyndam Hill, Shanachie and Red House.

Single Song Editing: $65/per song.
Simply email an mp3 recording of your song (mp3s only!) along with the lyrics with chords written over the words CUT AND PASTED into the body of the email (Do not send “word” attachments) and send payment through PayPal or Square Cash.
You get: a face-to-face Skype session with Cliff that you’ll arrange to fit your schedule. The critique will take approx. 30min-1 hr. Cliff will discuss ways to improve your lyrics and melody through editing, chord progression and prosody (matching the feel of the lyric with the music) – helping you distill and hone your message to create simple powerful songs.
Private lessons: $300.00 (4 hour session) in Western MA or subject to tour schedule.
Group workshops: $40 per person, minimum 10 participants pre-paid, plus travel costs (subject to tour schedule).
